I Gave Myself Two Weeks To Build a Website From Scratch Using AI - Here’s What I Learned

I gave myself two weeks to come up with an idea, create wireframes, draft requirements, develop, and launch a functioning website all with the help of an AI-assistant. Using Cursor, Supabase, and Vercel, I built a site that allows users to discover relevant dishes based on the list of ingredients they have. I constantly find myself with random ingredients in my fridge and pantry on the verge of expiration without a clue of how to combine them together into a cohesive dish, that most importantly tastes good. That is why I built dishcover.recipes! In this post, I will talk about the reason I built this site, summarize how I did it, and discuss my learnings and what I’d do differently next time.
